This Brief report introduces RGIS - Resource Geophysical Information System, a proprietary geophysical data processing and interpretation software independently developed by the leadership of the Development Research Center of China Geological Survey. Built on MapInfo and MapGIS platforms, RGIS integrates data management, preprocessing, processing, forward-inversion modeling, and map production for gravity, magnetic, and electrical methods. It encompasses a comprehensive suite of algorithms including filtering, continuation, derivative conversion, reduction-to-pole, anomaly separation, 2.5D/3D joint inversion, and electrical inversion. The software has been distributed free to over 5,300 domestic and international users, supporting major projects like the National Mineral Resource Potential Evaluation. It has delineated numerous concealed structures, rock bodies, and sedimentary basins, establishing corresponding databases. Future development focuses on intelligent multi-disciplinary data integration and AI-assisted interpretation for precision exploration.
